To tell you a little about myself, I am a Concord, NC native and I moved to Boone in 1988 to attend Appalachian State University where I earned a BS in Communications. While at ASU, I met and married my lovely wife, Shana Steele Lewis. Together, we have two sons, Dylan and Josh. Dylan has a Political Science degree from ASU and is currently living in Colorado. Josh is a senior at ASU and will be earning his degree in Social Work.
After I graduated from ASU, I was fortunate to find ECRS here in Boone. I started my career with ECRS in 1994 and just celebrated 25 years with the company as IT Director. I enjoy singing (especially karaoke), tennis, hiking, and spending time with my friends.
I believe that giving back to the community that has been so good to me is important. I have served on the board for the Boone Unitarian Universalist Fellowship, sung with the Appalachian Chorale, volunteered for Habitat for Humanity, F.A.R.M. Cafe, and various other organizations.
I am excited to join the Kahunas in an effort to raise funds for Watauga Habitat for Humanity and help them continue their mission to build homes, community and hope. With your support, we can help a Habitat homeowner build a better life for their family.
