Jane Meyers of Blowing Rock

Born in South Dakota, Jane Meyers is an accomplished business woman with successful endeavors in Coral Gables and Miami, FL to Hickory and Blowing Rock, NC.  Jane attended Stevens College for Women and founded L.O.O.M (Light Opera of Miami).   In the early 1980's, Jane served as the first female president of the Shoe Service Institute of America (SSICA).

Thank goodness, after many years in Florida, she settled in Blowing Rock, NC owning and operating the Cobbler Shop in Boone and Hickory, NC.

Jane retired and then made an "encore" presentation when she opened Fritz and Riley Consignments in Blowing Rock.  Throughout her busy life,  Jane has always given back to her community whereever she goes, supporting the Women's Fund of the Blue Ridge, Boone Cancer Society and many other worthy non-profits.  She is thrilled to be participating in Watauga Habitat for Humanity's Big Kahuna Campaign and we think she is going to look fabulous (as always!) wearing the Kahuna Crown!
