Through the Carpenter’s Club you can pledge to donate a certain amount of money at the completion of each home. The money will then go towards funding the next house. Learn more about this program here.
You can donate the funds and volunteer labor for a Habitat home. The average Habitat home costs around $120,000 in Watauga County. Churches, local business, and civic groups can partner together or fund individually. Please contact us for details.
If you have any land that is suitable for building and has passed a perk test that you would like to donate to Habitat or sell, please contact Alex Hooker, Executive Director.
You can make a donation in a loved one’s name for a holiday or special occasion. We will send them a card informing them of your gift in their name. Send us your request today.
If your company participates in a matching gift program, you can designate your donation to go to Habitat. Contact us for details.
Making a legacy gift in your will or trust is one of the easiest ways to partner with us and help out local families for years to come. You can also donate via beneficiary designation (retirement funds, life insurance, etc.). Learn more by contacting us.
If you have an older car, truck, van, trailer, RV or boat that you no longer need, consider donating it to support affordable housing in the Watauga County area. Car donations to Watauga County Habitat for Humanity support the local and global mission of eliminating poverty housing and homelessness and save you the time and energy of finding a buyer. By donating a car to our vehicle donation program, you can help volunteers in our area build houses in partnership with families in need of a hand up, not a hand out.
