The Big Cheese is a friendly competition lasting from April 1st and concluding June 4th, with a finale at Appalachian Mountain Brewery from 5:30 p.m. – 8:00 p.m.
The Big Cheese, formerly known as The Big Kahuna, is a peer-to-peer fundraiser where six teams compete against each other to raise the most money for Watauga County Habitat for Humanity before the finale. Since 2015, this fundraising campaign has collectively raised over $359,500!
This year’s teams are: Boone United Methodist Church, VPC Builders, High Country HomeBuilders, Alpha Delta Pi, Lambda Chi Alpha, and App Builds a Home Leadership.
